- Vikki asked me to write a review for her here and I am more than happy to! I think my experience deserved to be in some kind of realtor "hall of fame" or "story of the year", and I don't think I am exaggerating at all. So here goes: A few years back, I was living in Malaysia and having a hard time planning my move to Chicago. Sure, searching for places to rent on the internet was easy, but most people I talked to do not want to deal with out-of-towners and prefer to meet me in person before proceeding. I do not know the reason, I guess I was calling from an international phone and my number was untraceable. Also, not a lot of people would hold a rental for me until I arrive without some sort of deposit or assurance. I also found out that most property managers do not take bank transfers, only check or cash :/. And my problem is I NEED a place to stay by the time I reach Chicago or else I would be living on the street with my luggages! Vikki was the realtor who helped me with my situation. She found a very nice place for me and assure the property manager to hold the apartment until I arrive. What impressed me the most is that she even helped me to meet with a furniture seller on craigslist to coordinate the furniture situation before my arrival to the city. Long story short, I arrived to Chicago, got on a taxi, reach my future apartment, and my keys are ready. By the end of the day, my furniture are all moved in and my place is ready to be live in on the very first day. She really went above and beyond. All these could not be done without her! Believe me, I don't think I'd get very far if I tried doing all these on my own!
